Trump departure.

On a beautiful, sunny, 81 degree afternoon, the President and First Lady emerged at 2:18 p.m. to cross the well-cut grass of the South Lawn and board Marine One.

They will be touring and speaking at Joint Base Andrews before departing for Bedminster, N.J. for the weekend.

A crowd of what appeared to be staffers and guests were gathered to view the departure.

POTUS did not respond to shouted questions but both he and First Lady waved several times to crowd.

Traveling with the president were National Security Advisor McMaster and aides John McEntee and Lindsay Reynolds.

Marine One was wheels up at 2:22 p.m.
