President Trump arrived at Morristown Municipal Airport at 4:23 via helicopter from Trump National Golf Club in nearby Bedminster, N.J.
After landing, Trump walked from Marine One to the smaller version of Air Force One.
The president gave an impromptu press conference on the tarmac and addressed controversy over athletes kneeling during the national anthem, saying his criticism has "nothing" to do with race. He expressed hope about repealing Obamacare, passing tax reform and said "the tougher the better" for travel ban.

Earlier, pool vans passed a protester near Trump's golf club who put "Stop Fascism Now" signs at an intersection and held a sign saying "honk to dump Trump."

We are scheduled to land at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland around 5:10 and Trump is expected at the White House 20 minutes later.
