The pool is standing by at a hotel in Branchburg, NJ, about six miles from Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster. Pool has not seen the president today or all weekend, and White House staff are elsewhere. It's sunny and 89 degrees.
Pool has requested access to this afternoon's fund-raiser at the club for Rep. Tom MacArthur, in keeping with the practice of previous presidents of both parties to allow, at minimum, access for writers for presidential remarks to donors. No response.
We have a lid until 4:45.
