With the sun threatening to break through cloud cover, Marine One lifted off the South Lawn at 11:50 a.m.

POTUS emerged minutes before from the Oval and was joined by Hope Hicks. He pointed to her and waved to cameras before walking, alone, to Marine One.

He did not stop to talk to reporters.

Over to travel pool, which will head to Ohio for the presidents infrastructure speech then Palm Beach, Fla.
