"I believe you will be at the United Nations next week, it should be an exciting week"

"I want to thank you very much for all of the investment you've made in the United States"

"The Prime Minister has a major role in not allowing ISIS, you say Daesh, and others to exist and he's been very, very strong on terrorism in Malaysia and a great supporter"

"He does not do business with North Korea any longer and we find that to be very important"

"We had a vote yesterday, we think it's just another small step, not a big deal, it was nice to get a 15-0 vote"

"Sanctions are nothing compared what ultimately will have to happen"

PRIME MINISTER NAJIB:

"I want to say that we come here with a strong proposition to put on the table, No. 1 strengthening the US economy. I come with 3 specific proposals"

"1. we intend to increase the number of Boeing planes to be purchased by MES, we are committed to 25 planes of the 737 MAX 10, there is a strong probability, not possibility, probability that we will have 24, 25 more 737 MAX 10 in the near future, (President Trump interjects with a "Thank you") in 5 years the deal will be worth 10 billion dollars"

"We will also try to persuade ...G engines"

"There is a major attention fund in Malaysia, they have got a big sum of ...exporter and they have invested close to 7 billion dollars in the US and they intend to invest an additional billion dollars of support in the US"

"Thirdly, Khazanah, they have an office in Silicon Valley, they have invested about 400 million dollars in terms of hi-tech companies and they intend to increase"

"Our goal is to make the United States safe and the world safe. We are committed to fight Daesh/IS, al Qaeda, Abu Sayyaf, they are the enemy of the US and they are also the enemy of Malaysia and we will do our part to make sure that ...is safe"

"we will also contribute to victims of the ideological warfare because you need to reach the hearts and minds and we will support moderate and progressive Muslim regimes and governments around the world because that is the true face of Islam"

"The more you align with progressive or moderate regimes, the more...the hearts and minds of the Muslims"

Pres. Trump: "Right" (while nodding)

"The US has always been our partner for a long time and this year is our 60th anniversary of our relationship and I hope it will be stronger in the years to come"

Pres. Trump. "Thanks everyone"

--Pooler David Nakamura shouted a question on the Rohigya refugees from Burma, but the question went unanswered.

I close out this report with a fun fact from the BBC via the Malaysian PM's office: "The Prime Minister and President Trump are golfing buddies. Next to the Prime Minister's chair in his office is a photo of Trump and him"
