Air Force One landed in Morristown, NJ at 4:31pm. Weather is gorgeous.

Trump choppered off the tarmac at 4:47pm, Bedminster-bound.

Spotted on the tarmac: Dan Scavino and Hope Hicks.

POTUS made no remarks to the press upon landing. But timing suggests that Price's resignation may have been accepted while POTUS was in the air, given his "we'll see" comment about it at Joint Base Andrews.

When a TV reporter asked on tarmac in Morristown whether Trump had accepted Price's resignation, POTUS gave a thumbs up. We're not certain that the gesture was connected to the question.

The White House statement on the Sec Price resignation was released a few minutes after AF1 landed in New Jersey and about 45 minutes after Trump's Joint Base Andrews remarks.

For the record, here is the JBA quote in full, from just before Trump boarded AF1.

Has Secretary Price offered to resign?
"No, but we'll see what happens later on. I'm disappointed in him, but -- he's a good man but I'm disappointed in him."

Pool is now rolling to RON hotel.
