Good morning from Honolulu. The presidential motorcade started rolling to Hickam AF base at 6:38 a.m. Its 69 degrees and drizzly.

The motorcade stopped at 6:43 a.m. in front of Trump International Hotel Waikiki, about a quarter mile from the Ritz, where POTUS spent the night. Pool was kept in the vans.

From Sarah Sanders, White House press secretary: The President stopped by the Trump Hotel on his way to the airport. It has been a tremendously successful project and he wanted to say hello and thank you to the employees for all their hard work.

Photographers saw POTUS out of the limo with Jared Kushner.John Kelly, White House chief of staff, was spotted talking on his phone near the hotels front doors.

Rolling again at 6:53am Hawaii time.
