White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders gaggled with the pool at the Bridgewater Marriott at 10:40 a.m.

Highlights:

President Trump will eat lunch with Vice President Pence today, followed by a security briefing with the vice president, National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster and Chief of Staff John Kelly. There will be a pool spray at the bottom, probably in the 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. timeframe. There will be no pool spray at the bottom.

On Wednesday, the president signed 50 commissions, 30 letters and a half dozen decision memos. The commissions and letters sounded routine; details on the decision memos will come later today.

On the Pence lunch: The vice president is getting ready to leave the country. They meet regularly. Its not out of the ordinary.

On the presidents relationship with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell: You can see the presidents tweets. Obviously theres some frustration. I dont have anything more to add.

On North Korea: Certainly nothing has changed in the presidents thinking. Hes made clear how he feels on that front.

On whether the president is playing golf this morning: Not sure.

On consultations with the Pentagon on North Korea: I know that Gen. Kelly has been in constant contact with the national security team.
