The motorcade drove eastward across Manhattan, passing crowds along the barricaded-off route.
Most people just watched or held up cell phones for photos or videos. Some waved. Some extended middle fingers or thumbs down. At least one male offered the passing vehicles a Nazi salute.
The motorcade continued south along FDR Drive, closed to traffic in our direction, along the East River, in which a police boat traveled alongside. Somehow matching our speed.
Motorcade arrived at the Wall Street landing zone at 1422.
Pool did not see POTUS as we were hustled to where Marine 1 waited on the tarmac beside the East River.
At 1426 POTUS was wheels up for Bedminster.
Pool is being ledto our waiting V22 Osprey for our flight to New Jersey (but not to Bedminster).
