After an uneventful drive, pool vans broke off from the presidential motorcade at 11:16 a.m. The motorcade took a right on Lowes Island Blvd., where we are told POTUS is heading to Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va. Pool vans made a left into the Great Falls Village shopping center, where we will be holding at an Italian restaurant due to a members event at the golf club.
Your pooler will inquire about Trumps plans while at the club and any potential POTUS playing partners on the links.
The motorcade took I-66 to the Dulles Toll Road to the Fairfax County Parkway. All were open to civilian motorists, which created some awkward moments as drivers found themselves merging into the rear of the convoy. All decided to slow down and let us pass. On the Toll Road, one blue pickup truck tried to keep pace with the motorcade and was convinced to cease those activities by a Secret Sevice vehicle; the driver quickly complied. No, POTUS did not pay a toll as we exited the pay-to-play road known to most Washington area residents. --
