Pool returned to the press hotel from Trump National Golf Club at 2:15 p.m. We did not see the president, nor any obvious sign of a Supreme Court candidate on the premises. As mentioned earlier, Ivanka Trump stopped by to say hello.
We saw plenty of golfers on this hot, sunny day with temperatures in the low 90s. The second-floor railing of the main clubhouse was decorated with red-white-and-blue bunting, and the course surrounding the clubhouse was a lush green.
Vans took a different route from the club back to I-78, and we did not see any more protesters.
